Suzi Mayhem Outdoes John Cleese
by AlanF ina critique of suzi mayhem's theory of god .
i thought, when suzi first posted this, that it was a joke something like john cleese's classic "brontosaurus theory" skit in a monty python episode.
but mr. "dark clouds" has sort of asked me to critique it as if it were a serious theory, so here goes.. i'll address this to suzi, but suzi dear, don't take this too seriously.

an ass by any other name is still an ass
free at last:
thanks for initiating this one, much appreciated, there are some of us here that are open to possibility,
for without such a notion the earth might still be flat, and the moon might still be made of cheese, and some of us here would still be assimilated.to all the geniuses out there who dared to step away from the mainstream, and challenge the norm, these are the men to whom i would tip my hat if i was wearing one,
those are the souls who i admire and respect, and they have my gratitude for opening the doors of perception, through their courage and persistence they showed society that the mainstream view is not always correct, it is only popular.for the amusement of those that can read and understand and have a grasp for language and possibility, let's play a bit. . .
Clearly, if v > c, the factor sqrt(1 - v^2/c^2) is imaginary. This means that the transformed quantities of distance, time, mass and length are imaginary.
Do you have any idea what an imaginary distance is? Or an imaginary time? Or an imaginary mass? Or an imaginary length? Of course not, and neither does anyone else.
Therefore, plugging velocities greater than c into the various relativistic equations gives meaningless results.---alan
v=velocity c=speed of light
i=imaginary
i believe the imaginary principle was covered in another threadkeep that quote in the back burner. . .
kurt vonnegut explains his time theory in Slaughterhouse 5
so for those familiar with this story you will understand where i am coming from,
for those who don't know it
in a nutshell, he explains that all moments,
past, present, future,
always have existed, always will exist
its just a matter of time before we get to it
it is an illusion that we have on earth where one moment follows another
like beads on a string
thus the reason we see time as linearhis tralfamadorians(aliens)
can look at different moments
the same way we would look at a skyline,
they choose to look at whatever interests them at the moment
and when bored move on to the next.
so when someone dies
they see the person in a bad situation at that particular moment
but the same person is still fine in plenty of other ones
(kinda like the way jesus saw lazarus when he ressurected him)
thus time explained in his context. . .with this in mind
picture this,
what if our perception as humans,
is understood by the universe to be 'imaginary'
in the mathematical sense
our time, distance, length and mass
to us seems real because it is all we know at the moment,
and that is the way we se things,
you know like the earth being flat,
relatively, that thought permeated the masses not that long ago.because we have mass we will never accelerate past it
we are limited by c, the speed of light
so all these physical laws that govern our realm have limited us to traveling accross time,
because it is beyond our physical attainment
c and mass are the reasons we percieve time to be linearnow a being from a higher dimension,
that has no mass can exceed this speed that we call 'imaginary'
because 'he/she' understands this concept and is not limited by it,
thus 'he/she' can cross it, alter it, do whatever they choose with it,
because 'he/she' can, there is a function for imaginary numbers and these do explain real concepts as stated by alan.
who is to say that these functions can't be applied to that which we are yet to understand
and that these may be explained by science in the future. . .Note that for v larger than c the Lorentz transformation equations are meaningless, in that real coordinates and times are transformed into imaginary ones. Thus c appears to play the role of a limiting velocity for all physical phenomena.
again c appears to play the role of a limiting velocity for all physical phenomena
seems like the scientist who wrote this is somewhat open minded from his use of the word 'seems'CHUCK
'so it goes'edited to add a space

Alan
you ever hear of beer muscles?
it's a condition where you become all tough and bully like after a few drinks,
when in reality you are a wimp and the alcohol gives you a sense of courage.well, you've been diagnosed with a case of cyber muscles.
let me explain,
it's a parallel phenomenon that exists in cyberspace,
it is a very similar condition to beer muscles.instead of the muscles being induced by alcohol,
the courage stems from the ability to sit behind a keyboard and monitor and spew from the mouth.
name calling and hurling insults with totalitarian wisdom,
at anyone who dare oppose your train of thought,
or at anyone who may have insight to a life experience other than your own, behind your monitor you are the king divinely inspired and you know all. . .
this is the reality inside your head
thus it is true, at least to you. . .this is so very dub-like, kind of judgemental even,
but what do i know?
i am a low level of existence from your point of view. . .my own personal observation.
the WT still has you by the nads,
you have not broken away from their black and white mentality.not that this will matter to you,
because you have no respect for my thoughts, but then again, if i was really concerned with your perception of me or of anyone elses for that matter,
i would still be influenced by the borg mentality, and perhaps even still attending their meetings. . .CHUCK

god someone hit a nerve, and a sore one. . .
Alan, do you feel berated because a female wrote a toungue in cheek post, or because the actual idea that a woman can think and actually throw out a theory that can hold some truth upsets you because you did not think of it first?
her satirical humor breaks away from the programming you endured and apparently havent let go of yet,
you know the one where you are assimilated to believe that women should be subservient, and not speak. much less think.granted that the post is far from accurate,
its the element of the possibility that you overlook,
you apparently don't know how to think beyond black and white, technicolor was around in the sixties, or did you grow up on black and white tv,
oh sorry, you where a dub, same thing as black and white. . . .(to be read in a mock homer simpson voice):BO-RINGanyhow i know you will attempt to crucify me once more for this one. . .but you know what fuck it, cause fuzzy is just a label and it don't hurt. . .
Einstein while working on his theory of relativity used a concept of a geman mathematician
(this is where the cross and nails comes out because i do not remember his name, but when i do i will post it, believe me and i will laugh so enjoy this while it lasts cause your brief moment will pass)
anyways back to Einstein,
this German mathematician had speculated that 2 parallel lines could continue being parallel even if they touched for a moment at a point. . .
totally going against everything we learn in basic geometry, this speculation, when used by Einstein led to aiding him in the development of his theory of relativity,
you do know that there is more than simply E=mc^2 right?i never claimed to be a physicist but my thinking is very clear that is why i am no longer assimilated,
and its this ability of mine to think outside the blinders that keeps me creative. . .and open to possibilitiesyou also said something else that amused me,
something about a physical object not being able to reach the speed of light,
god is understood to be a concept/ spirit form, when did we start believing she/he was physical(had mass)?
even the dubs got this one right, McFlydid you see the movie contact with jodie foster?
when the pod goes through the rings she experiences 18 hours of travel where on the outside it seemed like seconds. . .
granted that the movie is fiction,
i'm fairly sure physicists were consulted to some degree about this for those of us wise-asses out there that would say
"hey that is not what Einstein said"From the standpoint of an outside observer, time on the moving object runs slower, and the object gains mass. But from the standpoint of the moving observer, nothing moving with him changes.
but then again i'm not a physicist so i can only speculate, try it sometime it's fun,
i forgot when we are assimilated we are not allowed to have funCHUCK
by the way Suzi has a boyfriend, so resort to the fantasizing
one more thing
Free thanks for the input
the equation does say E=mc^2
hhmm . . . that could be rewritten as c=sqrt(E/m)dude

who really enjoyed playing the part of the irate or definately unbelieving householder on the school or demo items?.
i know i really did and its only recently struck me that maybe for years deep down these where my true feelings shouting to get out.. shame i didnt listen to them sooner.

i knew things were really off when i noticed the brothers on stage holding index cards and reciting what had been rehearsed previously.
this was one of the give aways that everything had to be by the book and a sure fire way of making sure no one said anything that would embarass the borg.by the way, Duncan classic

Superstitions
by Geoff ini was reading through some of you guys old postings and i was laughing so hard.
some of you guys still believe the strange things your mom and dad said but didnt explain like not eating count chocula cereal.
didnt ever occur to you that maybe your parents thought that keeping you away from something as simple as a cartoon dracula might be in your best interests?

yo Geoff:
keep a garlic wreath around the count chocula box, to keep the dark powers at bay,
best known vampire repelant, works better than crucifixes. . .
dont have any advise on how to keep leprechauns at bay so avoid the lucky charms!!!
